How to compare fairly
Northbeam describes first-party attribution, a media mix model called MMM+, and incrementality on higher plans. Read Northbeam's own site for the current package. This page doesn't restate their price, because they don't publish one flat monthly number.
You give up that attribution and MMM package. You get a holdout on Amazon orders and prices on this site. Spillmark runs geo holdout tests for Meta ads and measures Amazon orders by ship-to state.
When Spillmark fits
Amazon-heavy brands on Meta. If most orders check out on your own site, Northbeam's pixel view may answer more of the question. Ask them how a test counts Amazon orders when Amazon is a large share of sales.
What a pixel platform doesn't see
Northbeam is built around first-party measurement for brands that sell on their own site: attribution, a media mix model, and incrementality on higher plans. Read their current pages before you compare line items, because packaging changes. The structural gap for an Amazon-heavy brand is the order a site pixel never observes. A shopper can see a Meta ad and buy on Amazon without creating a session on your site. That order isn't missing data you forgot to pipe. It's a different checkout.

A worked example
These numbers are made up. A brand does 70 percent of revenue on Amazon and 30 percent on Shopify. A site-pixel tool reports Meta at 5x on the Shopify slice and has little to say about the Amazon slice except an integration that pulls ad spend. They almost cut Meta.
A state holdout on Amazon orders shows a clear, smaller effect: about $1.40 of Amazon contribution per Meta dollar, plus the Shopify contribution they already trusted. Together the channel still clears. The pixel wasn't wrong about Shopify. It was silent about most of the company.
Ask any pixel vendor how an Amazon order is counted when the shopper never hit your site. If the answer is a modeled credit, ask for a range and a design. If they can't pause by state and count ship-to orders, you're comparing a different instrument.
Where Northbeam can still be the right buy
If almost all orders check out on your site, their instrument matches the business, and a geo holdout aimed at Amazon is a side test. Confirm their price with them. This page doesn't invent one. The longer, sourced write-up is the Triple Whale alternatives guide, which covers Northbeam in the same comparison. Spillmark shows you the real profit your Meta ads make on Amazon when Amazon is the hole you're trying to fill.
